Freedom Swimmer is a short animated documentary, which parallels a grandfather’s journey to safety during the Cultural Revolution with his granddaughter’s fight for freedom in Hong Kong today.

The project came from Hong Kong, was constructed in London during lockdown, animated in France and edited remotely in Australia.  Cantonese with English and French subtitles.
